Spring 2015 Trends

Yellow - from amber to marigold, canary to saffron there is a shade of yellow for everyone. The trick is to figure out your skin's undertone and find the shade that compliments.

Blues - Designer's have the blues this Spring, if the colors coming down the runways are any indication. From icy shades to teal and turquoise, fans of the hue will have nearly every saturation possible.

Khaki - Since it first hit the runway over 40 years ago, khaki has become a fashion classic, returning this season with a bang. Look for Military and African Safari inspired styles.

Head to Toe White - At this point it's not about the rules of when you can where white - it's about HOW you wear it. New styling tricks include mixing textures, layering multiple pieces, and teaming various shades of white.

Black and White - Always a fashion staple and this Spring it's everywhere. What makes this season's take on these classic color combination interesting is the different shapes, textures, patterns and silhouettes.

Blue and White - If black and white is too stark for you, try this season's more subtle cousin blue and white. The blues range from navy to cornflower, from nautical bold to soft and feminine china print inspired softness.

Shirtdresses - This Spring designers have reimagined this classic shape with drop waists, double side slits and more, worn as a dress or open as a soft jacket, it's a multi-purpose item for your closet.

Athleisure - If there is one fashion trend that may help us reach our New Year' goal to stay fit, it's athleisure wear. This sport look, which defines anything from activewear to loungewear, can encompass a wide range of separates, from neoprene leggings, boxy cardigan and cashmere sweatpants to mini leather duffels that double as gym bags. Because looking good is half the battle.

That 70's Style - From Hippie - chic flowing styles to Saturday Night Fever luxe metallic fabrics, these trends have stepped off the runway and into the stores.

Bold Florals - Never has the concept of florals for spring felt fresher: Big and beautiful or minute and abstract, this season, flower power is boldly feminine and here to stay.

Denim - The most American of textiles in more forms (Dresses! Coats! Pants! Jumpsuits!) than you can shake a leg at; from dark wash to lace-up, bedazzled and moreā€”it's jean genius.

Flats, Slides and Sneakers - Thank the fashion gods, comfortable shoes are here to stay! So whether you love your sneakers, appreciate minimal two strap sandals or adore your simple slides - there's something cute and comfy out there for you!

Fringe and Tassels - A little shimmy, a little shake: This spring is all about movement - both are found on everything from clothing to accessories.

Mixed Metals - The hottest trend in summer jewelry is metal-mixing - pairing burnished gunmetal with bright yellow gold, pale rose gold with oxidized silver, rhodium with copper. The look can be seen stacked as bangles, layered as neck chains, dangling from ears - often with multiple metals appearing on the same piece.
